This is a series of six 12x12" assemblage pieces. These have a more playful, borderline chaotic feel than all of my previous assemblage work. Instead of precisely measuring and cutting shapes to fit, I made these using only the shapes left from other works. This gives them their spontaneity and character. I've titled them Junk Drawer I-VI because they remind me of my Grandpa's kitchen junk drawer.
